Alme is a company specializing in the manufacture of ceramic fiber insulation materials, one of its main products being…
We produce fiberboard with different temperature ratings, especially 1800M boards with a service temperature up to 1750 degrees Celsius.
It’s quite well-known in the industry. However, the following two problems arise during the production of these fiberboards:
1. The water used to make fiberboard is usually recycled. However, after a week of recycling, the starch concentration will increase, causing COD to exceed the standard (the emission standard is ≤500ml/L). It is very difficult to reduce COD. But through our ingenious research and development, we have finally developed an inorganic flocculant that can flocculate organic matter, which can reduce COD from 800 to below 100.
2. Our fiberboard contains approximately 5% organic matter, which must be burned off before it is sold. The black smoke from burning is completely decomposed into CO2 using an Alme-developed VOC heat treatment furnace, making it both simple and environmentally friendly.

Alme’s Kiln Equipment Division currently undertakes the manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of various waste gas and wastewater treatment equipment. If you have any problems, contact Alme; we’ll definitely give you a satisfactory answer.
