Machinable Ceramic HS Board

1300HS Board is another innovative product in the field of thermal insulation materials.

1300HS Board features ultra-high strength and hardness equivalent to corundum mullite. It has a modulus of rupture up to 10MPa and a bulk density of 1000kg/m³, while ordinary fiber boards are generally below 400kg/m³ with a modulus of rupture of only 1MPa. It can withstand a maximum long-term service temperature of 1200°C.
Traditional corundum products can only be manufactured by mold opening, which is only applicable to mass production. They feature high labor costs, poor secondary machinability, easy breakage and long production cycles. By contrast, 1300HS Board boasts excellent machinability, which can be processed into diverse shapes via grinding, milling, turning and engraving.
Additionally, the HS Board comes with prominent properties: wear resistance, smooth surface with high finish, no powder falling, no particle shedding and no residue dropping. It integrates high mechanical strength, premium thermal insulation performance and outstanding machinability. Mold opening is not required, which greatly cuts down production costs and shortens production lead time.
It can be used as firing setter boards for LTCC debinding and sintering processes, featuring good air permeability and high debinding efficiency.
